EasyInvoice is a free, browser-based invoice generator. We built it with privacy in mind. Here's exactly what data is and isn't collected when you use our site.

No Account Required

EasyInvoice does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the tool. There is no signup, no email verification, and no password. You simply open the site and start creating invoices.

What We Do NOT Collect

To be completely clear, EasyInvoice does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your clients' names, emails, or addresses
• Invoice amounts, line items, or financial data
• Uploaded logos or images
• Payment or banking information
• Passwords or login credentials (none exist)

We have no database of user information. We could not retrieve your data even if legally requested to, because we simply do not have it.

Your Invoice Data

All invoice data you enter (business name, client details, line items, logo, etc.) is processed entirely in your browser. This data is never sent to our servers or any third party. We literally cannot see your invoices.

Local Storage

To make your experience faster, EasyInvoice saves your business details (company name, email, address, logo, and currency preference) in your browser's local storage. This means:

• Your details auto-fill when you return, so you don't have to re-enter them
• This data never leaves your device - it is stored only in your browser
• No one else can access it, including us
• You can clear it anytime using the Reset button on the form, or by clearing your browser's site data

Template files (.easyinvoice) and PDFs generated by this site may also contain your saved details. These files exist only on your device once downloaded - we have no access to them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit the site and how they use it. Google Analytics collects:

• Pages visited and time spent
• General location (country/city level, not precise)
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Referral source (how you found us)

This data is aggregated and anonymous. We use it to improve the tool. You can opt out by using a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense to keep EasyInvoice free. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can manage your ad personalization preferences at Google Ad Settings.

Hosting

EasyInvoice is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as part of standard web hosting operations. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies

EasyInvoice itself does not set any cookies. However, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies as described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect your invoice data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. For the third-party services we use:

• Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted
• Cloudflare server logs are retained according to their standard retention policy

Local storage data on your device persists until you clear it yourself using the Reset button or your browser settings.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your data:

• EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights primarily apply to data collected by Google Analytics and Cloudflare on our behalf.
• California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell any personal information.

Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to external websites (such as Google's privacy settings). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

Children

EasyInvoice is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
